The company traces its roots back to 1934 as a small artisan workshop, transforming within a few years into an industrial enterprise capable of overseeing all stages of the production process in-house. In 1968, the company shifted production from classic to modern, aiming to create furniture for mass production. Eleven years later, Dada became part of the Molteni Group, establishing itself as a leader in haute cuisine. In 1980, it began a collaboration with Aldo Rossi, which lasted for twenty years.
In the late 2000s, the company expanded its distribution to foreign markets, while continuing to develop collaborations with leading designers and re-editing designs by Gio Ponti.
