We are the first design company in Italy, and the second in Europe to have obtained the EPD Process Certification for the Chairs and Furniture product category, in accordance with the International EPD System – Sweden.
The award is given to a company that has particurarly distinguided itself in terms of sustainable development tanks to growing commitment over time, increasingly integrating sustainability into its production and design processes.
The EPD Process Certification focusses on the elaboration process aimed to develop the Environmental Declarations within the organization.
Obtaining such Process certification allows Arper to autonomously draw up the EPDs, that is, Type III (ISO 14025) ecolabels that aim at creating reports on the environmental performance of our products, providing objective, comparable and verifiable data.
