The new redevelopment project of the former Breda Siderurgica factory in the Bicocca District, transformed into multi-tenant offices, aimed to preserve the industrial memory of the building by returning the original concrete to its raw state, maintaining exposed beams and systems. The focus of the intervention was to return the indoor spaces to environments free from any invasive subdivision and convey an idea of "unfinished", while for the external façade a polycarbonate base was chosen, glass surfaces interspersed with transparent external silicone uprights to create an effect of lightness. The recovery of the basement joined to the ground floor generated a double-height hall while the roof of the building became a usable floor with social and green areas.
